by Dr. Mark Brewer :: I had the chance the last few weeks to talk with people and discuss their different faiths. The “bonus check” was that I prayed with several people to give their lives over to Christ. They were a combination of Jewish, Mormon, and Buddhist backgrounds. It never ceases to move me watching God’s love reach down and touch someone’s life. Sometimes in all the running of the ‘Good Ship Bel Air” you get removed from the immediate lives being transformed. I can’t express how impressed I am at the love, sensitivity, and joy the congregation gives to these ‘seekers’ who come in to our sanctuary. Here’s praying our next few weeks ‘reap as rich a harvest.’ Not as many angry faces as I expected while I’m preaching. (Maybe because they’re sleeping!)
